Oh Bummer is hauntingly surreal

Deerhoof is among the more exciting bands I have heard. I wonder why here the guitarists didn't follow the singer's voice on part of "Dummy Discards A Heart" as the guitarists did on the studio version. Obviously, they're capable of doing that, and they easily play the more difficult-sounding part preceding that part.

So I'm 32, a drummer, and consider myself to be apolitical when it comes to music. I try everything. These guys were playing in (kind of) this formation since the early 00's. I can't believe I went this long without hearing a peep of this genius. I've been at it for a couple of months, listening to them almost daily, and I'm still seriously questioning how anything else can ever satisfy me the way this band does. I'm scared.
